Embracing the Shadow: a gathering for letting go
Join us for an enriching experience to embrace our lives, our grief, and our joys with the presence of supportive community. Together we'll embark on a somatic letting go meditation then share our insights through creative expression and storytelling. We’ll close our shadow journey with a baci blessing ritual.
Working with our Bacii x Sun Song Shadow Potion is welcome and will provide extra support. This potion is a companion in helping us soften and expand as we practice letting go, but is not required to attend.

Imagination Activation: how trance states cultivate creativity
hosted by Corporeal Writing
This is a workshop for anyone who wants to utilize trance work, altered states of consciousness and their active imagination to cultivate their creativity. We will work with a variety of techniques inspired by hypnotherapy, shamanic journeying, psychic channeling, ’spirit writing,’ quantum physics and the animistic framework to move past the critical mind into an expanded, receptive and imaginative state of being. From there we will meet and engage with helpers, places of power, and our own creator archetypes to better support and understand our creative self, our abilities, and any pieces or projects we may currently be working on or dreaming up.

Join us in exploring silence, inner hearing, deep and quantum listening. We will sift for words using techniques like self-hypnosis, automatic writing and earth rituals to receive poems, songs and oracles. For assistance, we will call upon the support of the plants, stones, sun and water to commune with all kin on Earth.

Hot Spring Plant Walk + Flower Alchemy
Join me and Esmerelda of Ritmos Sagrados where the desert meets the mountain and the hot spring waters sing. We will gather in Apple Valley to embark on a plant walk pilgrimage to our sacred local hot springs. Along the way we will meet various plant kin, learn about their healing properties and create a group flower essence. Skills we will practice include ethical wildcrafting, plant communication, group channeling, essence making and harmonizing with the flowers. We will enjoy a mystical picnic, rest and regenerate in the hot springs and adjacent river.

Join Saewon on the ‘Full Flower Moon’ for a day of flower devotion!
Learn about the energetic healing qualities of plants, the art of flower essence therapy and how to create your own flower essence elixir. Participants will explore what it is to deeply commune with the plant world. We will try a variety of flower essences, co-create a group essence and blend our own formulas to bring home. We will be outdoors on a beautiful expanse of land. A nourishing home cooked meal will be served to ground ourselves, connect with community and close out the day. Come with a journal & pen, a hat and plenty of water. All other supplies and lunch will be provided!

Embodied Drawing with Creosote

Join us for an inter-species drawing workshop in communion with Creosote led by Saewon and artist Jai Knight. This workshop is for anyone interested in using art and their relationship to the earth as a form of healing, introspection, and connection. Beginning and experienced artists, meditators, plant lovers etc. are all welcome!
Participants will be guided into a meditative observation of their bodies, the external environment, and the native Creosote plant. Through heightened embodied awareness we will draw using line as a map into the present moment via an embodied fingerprint and plant drawing method with the use of flower essence plant medicine.
Everyone will go home with a creosote essence and a vial of Jai’s handmade creosote ink. Tea and light snacks will be served on a beautiful private residence in Joshua Tree.

What is an essence? How does one make them with intention and use them with reverence?
Join us for this workshop as we deep dive into the divine mystery and elemental alchemy of flower essences. In this 2 hour gathering, we will be guided by instructor Saewon Oh through her wisdom and experience with both crafting and utilizing flower essences in their array. Together we will learn methods and details of floral essence crafting. Students can expect to leave this class having learned about cultivating reciprocal relationship with the earthly plant and floral kin we share this planet with.
Participants will learn the basics of flower essence making, practice energy work techniques, and be guided step by step on how to make your own essence at home or in the wild.
All registered class participants will receive a specialized PDF to accompany this workshop, as well as a video recording good for 1 week of replay viewing.
